Disc Description Protocol is a format for specifying the content of optical discs, including CD's and DVD's. It includes files that contain the contents of the disc, plus files that describe the format, structure, and any additional information. It is used for delivery of masters for replication. Handy when masters have to be sent to a remote replication plant in a hurry.
